What we collect
- Account info — your email address and a password (stored securely hashed by our auth provider, Supabase — we never see or store your plain password). If you sign in with Apple or Google, that service confirms who you are and shares your basic account identity with the store; your password stays with them.
- Discord username — the public name shown on your listings and feedback.
- Town and postal code — where you live. Collected from members under the store's terms for marketplace safety, meetups, and shipping. Never shown publicly.
- Phone number (optional) — only if you choose to add it. It is private: the database rules mean only you can ever read your own.
- Your store activity — listings you post (including photos), ratings and comments you leave, your Wish List and Claim List, and your Store Points balance.
- View counts — the store counts page visits and how many times an item's details were opened. These are simple counters, not a profile of you.
What it's used for
- Running the marketplace: showing listings, connecting buyers and sellers, and keeping claims straight.
- Keeping your account yours: sign-in, optional two-factor authentication (2FA), and account security.
- Store features: wish lists, claim lists, points, and the feedback board.
- Stopping scams and rule-breaking (see the Terms & Marketplace Rules).
We do not sell your data, and there are no advertising trackers on this site.
What other people can see
- Your Discord username, your listings and photos, your feedback, and seller stats (member since, active listings, items sold) are public — that's how a marketplace works.
- Your email and phone number are never public. Nobody else can read them — not other members, not other sellers.
Payments
Payments do not happen on this website. When you pay, you use PayPal's own site (or Cash App / Chime in their own apps). We never see, receive, or store your card or bank details — PayPal handles all of that. What the store knows is only which item you claimed.
Browser storage & cookies
DEVO's Store keeps a few things in your own browser's storage so the site works:
- Sign-in session — our sign-in system (Supabase) stores its session token in your browser's local storage. That's what keeps you signed in between visits. Signing out ends the session.
- Consent cookie — one small cookie named
devos_cookie_consentremembers whether you accepted or declined the cookie banner. It lasts one year. Your choice is also kept in local storage. - Small preferences — things like the date of your last daily points visit are kept in local storage so features work correctly.
That's the whole list. There are no advertising cookies, no analytics trackers, and no third-party marketing cookies on this site. You can change your cookie choice any time with the Cookie Settings link in the store's footer. If you decline, we won't set the consent cookie — but note that staying signed in still requires the session storage described above; if you don't want that, just browse signed out.
Your data, your call
You can update your Discord username and phone number any time from your Account page on the store. To have your account and data deleted, DM DEVO on Discord — ddatpluh01 — and ask. Deleting your account removes your profile, listings, wish/claim lists, and feedback.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a fresh "last updated" date.
